Scotland will face Fiji in their final summer match at Murrayfield on Saturday, looking to bounce back from a narrow loss to South Africa. Despite a brave performance in Pretoria, forwards coach John Dalziel stressed that the team no longer seeks compliments but aims for victory.

Dalziel pointed out that Scotland created 11 entries into South Africa's red zone but failed to convert them, highlighting the need for clinical finishing. "We're getting closer," he said, adding that the team learns from playing top sides and is on the right trajectory.

After the heroics in Cordoba and the agony in Pretoria, Scotland now meets Fiji, a team capable of brilliance at home and inconsistency away. Although Fiji conceded 73 points to England last weekend, Dalziel warned of a backlash, recalling Fiji's win over Scotland last summer.

Coach Gregor Townsend will be without Rory Darge and Kyle Steyn due to injuries, but squad depth allows for changes without risk. Duhan van der Merwe and Darcy Graham may return, while Gregor Hiddleston and young forwards like Liam McConnell could feature.

Dalziel respects Fiji's quality and expects a strong response. Scotland is fully ready for the challenge and determined to secure a win.
