Skrīveru Saldumi Sees Revenue Growth, Profit Drops in 2024

Candy maker Skrīveru Saldumi reported a 17.7% increase in turnover to 6.902 million euros in 2024, but profit fell sharply to 49,238 euros. The company plans to focus on product development, efficiency investments, and export expansion.

Confectionery manufacturer SIA "Skrīveru Saldumi" achieved a turnover of 6.902 million euros last year, up 17.7% from 2023, according to data from Firmas.lv. However, the company's profit decreased by a factor of 4.1 to 49,238 euros.

In its annual report, management stated that alongside production, the company continued to develop a candy workshop and excursion programs, promoting Latvian confectionery traditions. Going forward, it plans to refine its product portfolio, invest in production efficiency, expand exports, and ensure stable growth while maintaining high food quality and safety standards. New products are also being developed for introduction in the next reporting period.

For comparison, in 2023 the company had a turnover of 5.866 million euros (an 8.1% increase from 2022) and a profit of 201,765 euros, down 2.1 times.

Skrīveru Saldumi was registered in 2006 with equity of 894,320 euros. The largest shareholder is SIA "Dimdiņi" (99.68%), while Iveta Stalidzāne holds 0.13%, and Oskars Brediks, Sintija Bredika, and Rinalds Audzišs each own 0.06%. In Dimdiņi, Stalidzāne has a 40.14% stake, Audzišs 20.42%, and the Brediks each 19.72%.
