The one-day race Andorra MoraBanc Classica took place on Sunday in Andorra, with 128 riders competing. Latvian rider Toms Skujiņš finished in 10th place.
The course covered 125 kilometers, featuring one hors categorie climb, one first-category and two second-category climbs, three intermediate sprints, and one cobbled sector.
The victory went to British rider James Pidcock (Pinarello Q36.5), who finished in 3 hours, 42 minutes and 25 seconds. He beat Skujiņš's teammate Carlos Verona (Spain) by two seconds, and by ten seconds he outperformed American Sepp Kuss (Team Visma/Lease a Bike) and his own teammate Chris Harper (Australia). Kuss took third place.
Skujiņš finished solo, as did most of the field, and crossed the line 1 minute and 35 seconds behind the winner. The Latvian earned 20 UCI points for his performance.
The Andorra MoraBanc Classica was held for the second time. Last year's winner was Danish rider Mathias Skjelmose.
