Skujiņš and Neilands in Tour de France Stage 10
Toms Skujiņš finished 68th and Krists Neilands 146th in the tenth stage of the Tour de France; overall leader Tadej Pogačar won the stage.

On Tuesday, July 14, the tenth stage of the Tour de France took place, where Latvian cyclists Toms Skujiņš (Lidl-Trek) finished 68th and Krists Neilands (NSN) placed 146th. The stage covered 166.6 kilometers with seven categorized climbs, including two first-category ascents.
The stage winner was overall leader Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) from Slovenia, who completed the distance in 3 hours 58 minutes and 8 seconds. This was his third stage win in this year's Tour and the 24th stage win of his career, putting him alongside cycling legends such as Mark Cavendish, Bernard Hinault, and Eddy Merckx. Pogačar beat Belgian Remco Evenepoel (Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe) by 32 seconds and Frenchman Paul Segaert (Decathlon CMA CGM) by 34 seconds.
Skujiņš lost 25 minutes and 26 seconds to the winner, while Neilands lost 39 minutes and 11 seconds. In the general classification after ten stages, Pogačar maintains the lead, 3 minutes and 36 seconds ahead of Dane Jonas Vingegaard (Visma/Lease a Bike) and 4 minutes and 6 seconds ahead of Evenepoel. Skujiņš moved up to 77th place overall, trailing the leader by 1 hour 55 minutes and 19 seconds, while Neilands is 136th, 2 hours 32 minutes and 14 seconds behind.
This is Skujiņš's eighth participation in the Tour de France and Neilands's sixth. Neilands's best result in the Tour is fourth place in a stage in 2023, while Skujiņš finished second in a stage in 2020. The 113th edition of the Tour de France will end on July 26 on the Champs-Élysées in Paris.
