Bad weather delays trains from Latvia and Lithuania
Storm winds and severe weather have caused delays on several international train routes between Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. Elron has apologized to passengers for the inconvenience.

Difficult weather conditions in Lithuania and Latvia have caused temporary changes to international train schedules.
A train that departed Vilnius early in the morning will arrive in Riga roughly an hour and a half late due to the weather, said Kristo Mäe, head of Elron's communications department. He noted that delays are expected to extend as far as Tartu and Tallinn.
Overnight, stormy winds knocked trees onto the railway tracks on the stretch between Riga and Valga. As a result, the direct Riga–Tartu–Tallinn train that left Riga at 7:30, as well as the Riga–Tartu–Tallinn service with a transfer that departed at 9:30, are also running behind schedule.
Elron has apologized to passengers for any inconvenience caused.
Services from Estonia running on time
In Estonia, trains departing toward Latvia and Lithuania are operating according to schedule. Mäe advised passengers to monitor updates on Elron's website, since weather conditions can change quickly.
Current information on schedule changes is available at www.elron.ee or by phone at 616 0245.
Elron reimburses the ticket price if a train is delayed by 30 minutes or more. To receive compensation, passengers must fill out a refund form on Elron's website.
