Dario Šarić, a 32-year-old Croatian forward, has been signed by Anadolu Efes Istanbul to replace Roland Šmits, who parted ways with the club yesterday. Šarić spent the previous nine seasons in the NBA, playing 498 games and averaging 10.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. Before his NBA career, he played for Anadolu Efes for two seasons (2014–2016), winning the Turkish championship in 2015. He was drafted 12th overall in 2014 by the Orlando Magic but was traded on draft night to the Philadelphia 76ers. During his NBA tenure, Šarić played for seven teams: the 76ers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns, Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, Denver Nuggets, and Sacramento Kings. Last season, he appeared in only five games for the Sacramento Kings. Šarić has agreed to a 2+1 contract with Anadolu Efes.
