Two foreigners suspected of arson attempt on Starlink equipment storage firm in Lithuania
Lithuanian criminal police have identified two suspects in the 18 October attempt to set fire to a SpaceX Starlink base station. Both are in custody in Germany, and police suspect possible links to Russia.

Law enforcement in Lithuania announced on 29 October that two suspects have been identified in an attempted arson attack on a Starlink base station operated by the US company SpaceX, which provides satellite internet. The incident took place in Lithuania on 18 October. Both men are currently in custody in Germany, and investigators suspect they may have ties to Russia.
The details were given at a press conference by Saulius Briginas, deputy head of Lithuania's Criminal Police Bureau, as cited by Lithuanian public broadcaster LRT. He said the suspects are two foreign nationals living in Germany. One holds Turkish and German citizenship, the other Serbian and German citizenship.
Police say the men have no connection to Lithuania. They arrived in the country the day before the attempted arson and left shortly afterwards.
Background
Lithuanian Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevičius reported the failed arson attempt on 18 October. It targeted a Lithuanian company that stores Starlink communications equipment. Vilmantas Vitkauskas, head of the government's National Crisis Management Centre, said at the time that Lithuania regards the incident as a Russia-linked act of sabotage aimed at undermining Ukraine's military capability.
Starlink communications services are also used by Ukraine's armed forces, so attacks on related infrastructure may affect Ukraine's communication capabilities.
