Strong interest in free genetic screening for breast and ovarian cancer risk at Stradins hospital
Women have shown great interest in a free BRCA1/2 gene test at Pauls Stradins Clinical University Hospital. Tests are limited, so on 14 October the first 100 women to register will be able to take it.

Women have shown great interest in the chance to take a free genetic screening for breast and ovarian cancer risk. The screening, offered at Pauls Stradins Clinical University Hospital (PSKUS), involves testing the BRCA1/2 genes.
Because the number of tests is limited, 100 women who registered first will be able to take the test on 14 October. It will be held as part of a Breast Health Month event, the hospital said.
