Swiss U-21 champion Reidzans knocks on adult hockey door
Latvian forward Daniels Reidzans, who won the Swiss U-21 championship this spring, is now preparing to step up to professional hockey.

In the watchmaking city of Biel, a sunflower field is growing near the hockey arena. The ice at the local rink will only be laid when the sunflowers bloom. Meanwhile, players of all age groups, including forward Daniels Reidzans, are engaged in strength training.
Reidzans won the Swiss youth championship this spring as part of the EHC Biel–Bienne U21 team. Now he is pushing to break into adult hockey. The arena is in summer mode without ice, but preparation for the upcoming season is already underway.
