The Guardian's Sunday evening TV picks for British viewers feature ITV1 drama The Party, starring Luke Evans and Sarah Solemani. The schedule also includes a Simon Reeve documentary, a reality series and a music show.

The Guardian has published its television recommendations for Sunday 18 October in the UK. The top pick is ITV1 drama The Party, starring Luke Evans and Sarah Solemani, which concludes on Monday.
Drama and comedy
In The Party (ITV1, 9pm), journalist Martin, played by Evans, and Tory politician Ben, played by Tom Cullen, share a troubled history. The reviewer says the series has so far been an entertaining autumn thriller. With the true story behind their friendship now known, the damaging consequences begin to unravel at the party: bad news for the guests, but enjoyable for viewers.
BBC One's The Reluctant Vampire (6.40pm), a macabre comedy adapted by the Gibbons brothers from Eric Morecambe's books, continues. This week Val, played by Lenny Rush, plans to sneak out to a school prom.
Documentary and reality
On Channel 4 at 8pm, Kevin McCloud's Classic Car Road Trips sees the presenter tour Europe in classic cars. This week he takes a 1960s Citroen DS to Cannes and Monaco.
BBC Two's Wilderness With Simon Reeve (9pm) reaches its final leg in Mongolia. Reeve begins in the Gobi desert, searches for snow leopards in the Margaz mountains and meets a community that hunts with eagles.
At 9pm on Channel 4, reality series Apocalypse, in which two tribes try to survive in a deserted US town, airs its penultimate episode.
Music and sport
On BBC Two at 10pm, Later … With Jools Holland remembers Ozzy Osbourne and Amy Winehouse, marking 20 years since Back to Black. Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi appears, alongside Royal Blood, cellist Ayanna Witter-Johnson, drummer Moses Boyd and Shygirl.
