The Latvian, Estonian and Italian music collective „Tell Your Birds” has released their latest song „pa saulei”, which serves as the first preview of their upcoming second studio album. The track marks a new phase in the group's creative evolution.

„pa saulei” combines Latvian poetry with wordplay on the word for sun and a traditional Estonian sun-invocation melody. This melody survives in the Mulgi language of southern Estonia and has been preserved in an archival recording by folk singer Greete Jents (1884–1985). The single has been available on streaming platforms since June 18.

The group invites fans to a concert on July 9 at club DEPO, where they will perform several premieres from the forthcoming album. The evening will also feature Liene Skrebinska with her solo project and alternative rock band „Seržants Bēda”.

„Tell Your Birds” is an experimental folk music collective whose sound intertwines Estonian folk melodies and archival recordings, Latvian folk singing, Italian poetry and alternative music vibes. The members are Kristīne Tukre (zithers), Vija Moore (percussion), Kärt Tambet (violin) and Simone Spampinato (electronics). The group aims to make folk music relevant for contemporary listeners by incorporating noise, urban sounds, love ballads, rave rhythms and meditative drones.
