In Canada, over 100 active wildfires are still raging across northern Ontario. The smoke from these fires has drifted into Toronto, blanketing the city. Local authorities have advised residents to remain indoors as air quality has deteriorated significantly.

On July 15, Toronto's air quality ranked the worst in the world, with skies shrouded in thick smoke. Many residents reported allergic reactions such as coughing and eye irritation. Health officials warned that prolonged exposure to smoke could lead to serious health issues, particularly for those with respiratory conditions.

Firefighting efforts are ongoing, but forecasts suggest smoke may persist over the city until wind patterns shift. Residents are urged to monitor official updates and use protective masks if necessary.
