Trump Warns Iran of ‘Much Stronger, Larger’ Strike If It Responds to US Attack

US President Donald Trump has warned that Iran would face a “much stronger and larger” strike if it responds to the latest US attack. The warning came after US armed forces confirmed strikes on facilities of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the United States is currently carrying out strikes on Iranian targets near the Strait of Hormuz. He described the strikes as large and powerful, saying they were a response to an unsuccessful Iranian attempt to lay naval mines in the strait, where there are currently no mines — they have been completely removed or blown up. He also referred to an attack on a US military base in Jordan by eight missiles, all of which, he said, were successfully intercepted.

Trump called the strike on Iran “fully justified.” He warned that if Tehran decided to respond, it would receive another strike that would be “much stronger and larger.” However, he added that this would not be the most powerful strike possible — the most powerful one was still waiting, and when it comes, very little would remain of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Earlier media reports indicated that the US president was considering limited strikes on Iran near the Strait of Hormuz to counter attacks on ships. Trump has also recently said the US would respond to Iran’s overnight strike on American military bases in Jordan.
