Wednesday to Bring Stronger Winds and Occasional Rain
Latvia will experience mostly cloudy weather with light rain and increasing winds on Wednesday. Temperatures will reach up to +20°C.

Wednesday morning in Latvia is cloudy, with skies clearing in some areas. Occasional light rain is expected, mainly in Sēlija, Latgale, and southwestern Kurzeme. A light to moderate west-northwest wind is blowing. Air quality is very good. Temperatures shortly after sunrise range from +11°C to +14°C across the country. In Riga, skies are mostly cloudy, with west-northwest wind at 2–7 m/s and temperatures between +12°C and +13°C.
For comparison, Tuesday's maximum temperatures ranged from +15.2°C in Pāvilosta to +19.0°C in Daugavpils. On Wednesday, west-northwest wind gusts will reach 9–14 m/s, and in Vidzeme, gusts may reach up to 16 m/s in the afternoon. The weather will be mostly cloudy, clearing from the west in the evening. Precipitation will be less than in previous days, but rain is expected in many places, with more significant rainfall in the Alūksne and Balvi districts.
Temperatures will rise to +15°C to +20°C. In Riga, no significant precipitation is expected; skies will remain cloudy but clear in the evening. West-northwest wind gusts will strengthen to 13 m/s, and the air will warm to +18°C to +19°C. The weather is influenced by the southwestern edge of a cyclone. Atmospheric pressure is 1005–1010 hPa at sea level.
