Three Summer Lemonade Recipes: Watermelon, Strawberry and Peach
Fresh berries and fruits can be turned into refreshing summer lemonades. Here are three simple recipes using watermelon, strawberries and peaches.

When the garden, forest and market are full of berries and fruits, it is the perfect time to make a refreshing lemonade. The amount of sugar can be adjusted according to the sweetness of the fruit. For those who prefer a more adult version, plain or sparkling water can be replaced with light white wine or sparkling wine.
Watermelon Lemonade
This lemonade takes 15 minutes to prepare and serves six people. The ingredients include one kilogram of watermelon flesh without seeds, 500 ml of sparkling water, two lemons, five tablespoons of sugar syrup, ice and mint for serving, and 500 ml of water. Blend the watermelon, then stir in the water, syrup and lemon juice. Place ice cubes and a mint sprig in each glass, divide the watermelon mixture among the glasses, and top up with sparkling water. Stir gently and serve.
Strawberry Lemonade Concentrate
The concentrate can be kept in the refrigerator for a couple of days, so lemonade can be made quickly whenever desired. If serving with a straw, blend the strawberry concentrate to prevent fruit pieces from clogging the straw. Preparation takes 15 minutes, plus time for the strawberries to release their juices, and the recipe serves six people. You need 500 g of strawberries without calyxes, 300 g of sugar, two limes, ice for serving, and one litre of sparkling water. Cut the strawberries into small pieces or chop them, and slice the limes thinly. Mix the strawberries with the sugar and limes, then refrigerate for at least six hours, stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar. Put ice in a glass, add a couple of tablespoons of the sugared strawberries, and pour in the sparkling water.
Peach Lemonade
Honey can be used instead of sugar for the peaches. This lemonade takes 25 minutes to prepare and serves four people. The ingredients are four ripe peaches, two lemons, 150 g of sugar, one teaspoon of vanilla sugar, and one litre of water. Remove the peach stones and cut the fruit into slices. Place in a pot and add the lemon juice, sugar, vanilla sugar and a couple of tablespoons of water. Simmer for 10–15 minutes, until the peaches have turned into a purée. Rub the mixture through a sieve, dilute with water, pour into glasses and serve.
