An unusual incident has occurred at the 'Dzīvo sapņu dārzs' animal park in Ādaži, where security cameras captured a visitor taking a baby rabbit from an enclosure and walking out with it. As she left, the woman was heard saying: 'I'll carry it, I came with him, I'll carry him home. I just came to show, I can feel he's getting nervous.'

Volunteers working at the park noticed the theft but did not intervene; instead, they recorded the license plate of the BMW the woman used to drive away with the rabbit. Jānis, the park owner who has been running the facility for eleven years, says he has seen many things but this case is astonishing.

The owner expresses sympathy for such people, noting that 'the laws of the universe have not been repealed' and that an investigation is underway. He assures that there will be a result. With the video already circulating on social media, there is a risk the woman might try to get rid of the animal. Therefore, Jānis asks residents to be alert and contact the 'Dzīvo sapņu dārzs' if they spot a small rabbit near Ādaži center. He also warns against trying to catch the animal themselves, as it could be mistaken for a wild hare's offspring.
