Tuchel after draw with Ghana: 'We don't need an alarm clock'
England head coach Thomas Tuchel said there is no reason for panic after a goalless draw against Ghana in the World Cup group stage, despite his team's dominant possession.

England's head coach Thomas Tuchel expressed dissatisfaction with his team's inability to score despite having 79% possession against Ghana in the World Cup. However, the German specialist emphasized there is no cause for alarm.
"We don't need an alarm clock. Everyone is alert and determined. There can be no doubt. There was no excessive confidence in our play, but perhaps some moments showed excessive caution," said Tuchel. He added that the team has four points from two games, with one match left, and they are capable of winning it.
Tuchel also responded to criticism from fans about an unexciting style of play. "It's a long tournament. The players did everything they could. Sometimes, when opponents defend deep, it's hard to find positions and create chances. It's not as thrilling as games where both teams want to win. It takes two to tango," the coach noted.
England captain Harry Kane told the BBC that the team is in a good position. "I see major tournaments as two separate tournaments: the group stage and the knockout stage. We are almost done with the first part and hope to finish it with a win to stay at the top of the group," Kane said.
England will conclude the group stage on June 28 at midnight against Panama, who lost their chances of advancing after a defeat to Croatia. In Group L, England and Ghana share the lead with four points each, Croatia has three, and Panama remains on zero.
