Tusk warns Nawrocki not to get 'dragged into a cage' during US visit
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk appealed to President Karol Nawrocki to avoid being drawn into a fight during his US visit, referring to an MMA event planned at the White House.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk issued a "strong appeal" to President Karol Nawrocki not to "let himself be dragged into a cage" during his visit to the United States. The statement was reported by Polish radio RMF FM, as cited by European Pravda.
President Karol Nawrocki is traveling to Washington on Sunday at the invitation of US President Donald Trump. During the visit, he will attend the gala concert of the mixed martial arts (MMA) tournament UFC Freedom 250, to be held at the White House to mark the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States and on the American president's birthday.
When asked by journalists about his assessment of the president's trip and what Nawrocki should discuss with Trump, Tusk said that for obvious reasons he wishes the president success in his American journey. Referring to the planned MMA tournament at the White House, the prime minister "strongly appealed" to the president not to "let himself be dragged into a cage" in the US.
"We know he likes boxing, but it's better not to take risks. It is known how some fights end, so I hope he won't be drawn into such brawls," Tusk said.
As reported, Polish President Karol Nawrocki is preparing two gifts for the celebration of his American counterpart Donald Trump's 80th birthday. Media earlier reported that Nawrocki received an invitation to Trump's birthday and intends to attend.
