TV6 to broadcast NBA games again in the new season
Latvian TV channel TV6 will continue to air games from the North American basketball league NBA this season. The first broadcast is on 20 October, and the schedule for October and November has already been confirmed.
Latvian TV channel TV6 will again show NBA games in the new season. The NBA is the professional basketball league of North America. The opening broadcast on TV6 will take place on Tuesday, 20 October, at 22:00 Latvian time, when the Boston Celtics face the Detroit Pistons.
As in the previous season, viewers will be able to follow the league regularly: every week the channel will offer one of the current games. The programme "NBA Action" will cover behind-the-scenes stories, highlights and analysis.
Changes in the teams
Several teams made significant roster changes over the summer. One of the most notable is the arrival of superstars LeBron James and Jaylen Brown at the Philadelphia 76ers. The return of Kawhi Leonard to the Toronto Raptors, with whom he won the NBA title in 2019, has also drawn attention.

The broadcast schedule confirmed by TV6 for October and November:
- 20 October, 22:00 – Boston Celtics vs. Detroit Pistons;
- 1 November, 22:30 – Boston Celtics vs. Orlando Magic;
- 8 November, 22:30 – Philadelphia 76ers vs. Chicago Bulls;
- 15 November, 20:00 – Indiana Pacers vs. Philadelphia 76ers;
- 22 November, 22:30 – Detroit Pistons vs. Atlanta Hawks.
