Ukraine strikes major oil terminal in Russia's Krasnodar region
Ukraine's Security Service confirmed a successful strike on the Tamannaftogas oil and gas terminal in Krasnodar Krai, hitting five fuel tanks and two loading points.

On June 13, Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) confirmed a successful operation against the Tamannaftogas oil and gas terminal in Russia's Krasnodar region. The attack was carried out by the SBU's Alpha special unit in cooperation with the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Special Operations Forces and the Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate.
According to the SBU statement, drones struck five tanks containing petroleum products, as well as two oil filling points at the terminal. Fires also erupted at the truck parking area and warehouse infrastructure. Additionally, Russian air defense positions protecting the facility were hit.
The Tamannaftogas facility is the largest liquefied hydrocarbon transshipment complex in southern Russia. The SBU emphasized that Russia's oil and gas complex is the primary source of funding for the war. "Oil dollars are directly turned into missiles, drones, and ammunition used by the enemy to attack our cities. Therefore, the SBU will continue to systematically deprive Russia's military machine of resources for waging war," the statement read.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian General Staff reported that a refinery in the Volgograd region was also targeted overnight. This facility prepares, transports, and pumps oil via main pipelines to refineries and export infrastructure in Russia.
