Ukraine strikes Russia's largest oil refinery in Omsk for the first time
Ukrainian drones reached Siberia overnight, damaging the Omsk oil refinery. Attacks also hit several other locations in Russia and occupied Crimea, including refineries, ports, and military infrastructure.

Ukraine has carried out its first attack on Russia's largest oil refinery in Omsk, located over 2,500 kilometers from the front line. The strike was confirmed by multiple independent sources. Omsk region governor Vitaly Khotsenko acknowledged that some drones reached the northern industrial zone but did not name the specific facility. The refinery, owned by Gazprom Neft, is the largest in Russia by refining capacity.
In addition to Omsk, attacks occurred in other parts of Russia. Satellite images indicate that the Slavneft YaNOS refinery in Yaroslavl was hit. The regional governor claimed over 70 drones were shot down over the city, but traffic to Moscow was temporarily closed and two people were injured. Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) later confirmed successful strikes on Russian energy and military infrastructure, including the Yaroslavl refinery and a pumping station.
The Leningrad region also came under attack. At the port of Vysotsk, two pumping units were damaged and three oil product reservoirs caught fire. Damage was also reported in the Ust-Luga port area, where the Novotek refinery was targeted. In the Kaluga region, a fire broke out at the Pervy Zavod refinery. The Leningrad region governor reported 56 drones shot down, while Russia's Defense Ministry claimed a total of 519 drones were intercepted.
In occupied Crimea, the situation is particularly severe. Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev said the city lost power after a strike on energy infrastructure. Krymenergo reported massive power outages across the peninsula. The port of Kerch was attacked again, and a fire was recorded at the Hvardiyske airfield. Robert Brovdi, commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, stated that two Russian tankers carrying gasoline in the Sea of Azov were struck while heading to Crimea. Overall, the Unmanned Systems Forces hit 47 targets. Additionally, two S-400 air defense systems in the Bryansk region and Crimea were destroyed, along with a Nebo-U radar station in Crimea. Experts estimate that 10–15% of launched drones reach their targets.
