Ukraine's Defense Forces carried out strikes on a series of Russian military facilities on September 12 and into the night of September 13, the General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces has reported.

One target was a facility in Donetsk used for storing, preparing and launching strike drones. Ukrainian forces also destroyed several ground relay stations that Russian forces used to control "Geran"/"Gerbera"-type strike drones.

Areas hit

The relay stations were struck in the occupied part of Kherson region — near Zalizny Port and Skadovsk — as well as in occupied Crimea, near Chornomorske and Olenivka. In Olenivka, an antenna complex belonging to Russian forces was also destroyed.

Ukrainian forces additionally struck a target in Russia's Bryansk region, in the area of Riovny, destroying a target-tracking radar station.

Previous strikes on oil facilities

The General Staff recalled that on the night of September 13, Ukrainian forces also struck two oil refineries in Russia — the Slavyansky refinery in Krasnodar Krai and the Taneko refinery in Tatarstan. Damage to the Saratov oil refinery, hit in a strike on September 11, has also been confirmed.

Earlier, Ukraine's Defense Intelligence reported that a strike on the Slavyansk-EKO refinery had damaged its key oil processing unit and its tank farm.
