Ukraine's forces neutralize 1,540 more Russian occupiers in past day
Ukraine's General Staff reports 1,540 Russian troops were neutralized over the past 24 hours, bringing total Russian personnel losses since the invasion began to roughly 1.524 million.
Ukraine's Armed Forces General Staff has reported that its defense forces neutralized 1,540 Russian occupying troops over the past day. Total Russian personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have now reached approximately 1,523,980.
Equipment losses
According to the General Staff's figures, Russia also lost significant amounts of military equipment over the past day. Since the war began, Russia has lost 25,402 armored combat vehicles (up 15), 50,240 artillery systems (up 24), 2,154 multiple rocket launcher systems (up 2), and 1,669 air defense systems (up 4).
The number of destroyed aircraft has reached 443, with one additional unit confirmed for an earlier period. Losses of ground robotic systems rose by four, reaching 2,727 units.
The most notable increase was in operational-tactical level drones, with Russia's losses climbing to 531,352 — an increase of 792 over the previous count. Additionally, 152,782 vehicles and fuel tankers (up 229) and 4,740 units of special equipment (up 3) have been destroyed.
Ukraine's General Staff noted that the figures are being verified and updated as battlefield data continues to be compiled.
