Ukraine Turns Russia's Last Land Route to Crimea into 'Road of Death', The Telegraph Reports
The Russian army has acknowledged that the R-280 highway, the last reliable land connection to Crimea, has become nearly unusable due to constant Ukrainian drone attacks.

Dilemma in Supplying Crimea
After four years of war, Russia no longer has a safe way to supply Crimea. According to The Telegraph, the only remaining reliable land route – the R-280 highway – has been transformed into what the Russian army itself calls a "road of death" due to incessant Ukrainian drone attacks.
Unlike the trails in the jungles of Vietnam, vehicle convoys have no place to hide. Russia has only two routes to Crimea: the Kerch Bridge and the R-280. However, the Kerch Bridge is so badly damaged and vulnerable to further attacks that Moscow has long avoided transporting fuel and military supplies across it. As a result, the R-280 has become the only possible, but increasingly dangerous, route that is under constant fire.
