Ukrainian forces launched an overnight drone strike on Russia's Dagestan region, according to acting regional head Fyodor Shchukin. A fire broke out at the Makhachkala International Sea Trade Port after drone debris fell on the site, he said.

Another drone struck the Avar Musical Drama Theater, named after Gamzat Tsadasa, landing on the building's roof. Theater director Magomed Bisavaliev said the impact blew out windows and started a fire.

Shchukin reported that all fires have since been extinguished and that no casualties were recorded in Dagestan.

Fatal strike in Voronezh region

The same night, Ukrainian drones also targeted Russia's Voronezh region, Governor Alexander Gusev said. One drone hit a private home in the town of Borisoglebsk, killing a woman and injuring two other people.

Russia's Defense Ministry said its air defense systems shot down 448 Ukrainian drones across multiple regions overnight.
