Ukrainian Drone Attack Kills One in Saratov Region, Hits Industrial Sites
At least one person was killed and several injured in Ukrainian drone attacks on industrial sites in southern Russia, including an oil refinery.

Ukrainian drone strikes killed at least one person and damaged industrial facilities in southern Russia early Wednesday, regional authorities reported.
Saratov region Governor Roman Busargin said one person was killed and several others wounded, with damage to industrial sites, though he did not provide specifics. Unverified reports indicate that a Rosneft-operated oil refinery was hit and caught fire during the drone barrage. The facility has been targeted previously.
In the southwestern Rostov region, Governor Yury Slyusar stated that two tankers were damaged in Taganrog Bay, part of the Sea of Azov. He said the vessels were empty and en route to Rostov-on-Don, and two people sustained minor injuries.
Ukraine's military reported that drones have attacked a dozen tankers from Russia's so-called "shadow fleet" over the past several days, claiming the ships were attempting to deliver fuel to annexed Crimea.
In the republic of Tatarstan, local authorities said Ukrainian drones targeted the industrial city of Nizhnekamsk, home to Tatneft's flagship Taneco oil refinery. Videos and photos on social media showed fire and smoke rising from the facility, which had reportedly halted operations in June after a previous drone strike.
Russia's Defense Ministry said it intercepted 415 Ukrainian drones across Russia and annexed Crimea between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
