Ukraine's General Staff reports 225 combat clashes since start of day

Ukraine's General Staff says 225 clashes occurred along the front line by 22:00 on September 14, with Russia deploying guided bombs, kamikaze drones and heavy shelling.

Ukraine's General Staff reported that 225 combat clashes took place along the front line during the day on September 14, according to data as of 22:00 local time.

Per the report, Russian forces carried out 55 airstrikes using 190 guided aerial bombs. Russia also employed 6,183 kamikaze drones in attacks and conducted 1,724 shelling strikes against Ukrainian troop positions and populated areas.

The General Staff also provided a breakdown of assault actions by sector. Two Russian assault actions were recorded since the start of the day in the Pivnichno-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, three in the Pivdenno-Slobozhanskyi direction, eight in the Kupiansk direction, six in the Lyman direction, and seven in the Sloviansk direction.

The fiercest fighting occurred in the Kostiantynivka direction, where 27 Russian assault actions were recorded, followed by the Pokrovsk direction with 22. Five assault actions took place in the Huliaipole direction, and one in the Orikhiv direction.

The figures, current as of 22:00, indicate that the heaviest ground fighting continues in Donetsk region, particularly around Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk, which have remained among the most contested sections of the front for an extended period.
