Ukraine reports 157 combat engagements in a day, Pokrovsk direction most active
Ukraine's General Staff reported 157 combat engagements on the front lines, with the Pokrovsk direction seeing the highest activity at 23 attacks.
According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff update as of 22:00, there have been 157 combat engagements since the start of the day. The Pokrovsk direction recorded the highest number of enemy attacks at 23, followed by the Huliaipole direction with 16 attacks.
Direction-by-direction details
No combat engagements were reported on the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions. The enemy conducted 60 shellings of settlements and Ukrainian positions, two of which involved multiple rocket launchers.
On the South-Slobozhansk direction, the enemy stormed Ukrainian positions six times near Izbystske and Zybine, with three clashes ongoing. In the Kupiansk direction, three attacks occurred near Novoplatonivka and toward Kivsharivka and Kupiansk-Vuzlovy; one engagement is still ongoing.
On the Lyman direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 11 enemy attempts to advance near Shiikivka, Olhivka, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Derylove, and Lyman. In the Sloviansk direction, 13 attacks were successfully halted near Kryva Luka, Kalenyky, Zakitne, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka.
The Kramatorsk direction saw one enemy assault near Tykhonivka. On the Kostiantynivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 attacks near Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Ilinivka, Rusyn Yar, and toward Kostiantynivka.
On the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy launched 23 attacks, attempting to advance near Vilne, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Kotlyne, Udachne, Dorozhne, and toward Bilytske, Kucheriv Yar, Shakhove, Novopavlivka, Filia, Toretske, Rodynske, Novohryshyne, Hulyve, Myrne, and Serhiivka; three engagements are ongoing.
On the Oleksandrivka direction, two enemy attempts were recorded near Piddubne and Ternove. The Huliaipole direction saw 16 attacks near Huliaipilske, Zaliznychne, Charivne, and toward Dobropillia, Rybne, Hirke, Vozdvyzhivka, and Olenokostiantynivka; two clashes are ongoing. In the Orikhiv direction, two attacks occurred near Kamianske and Stepnohirsk.
