Ukrainian Rocket Strike Kills At Least Six in Russia's Belgorod Region
A Ukrainian rocket attack on a village in Russia's Belgorod region killed at least six people and wounded four, including a teenager, on Monday. The strike followed a broader overnight exchange of attacks between Russia and Ukraine that left 19 dead on both sides.

Acting Governor of Russia's Belgorod region Aleksander Shuvaev reported on Monday morning that a Ukrainian rocket attack had killed at least six people and injured four others. The strike hit the village of Koloskovo, roughly 24 kilometers from the border with Ukraine.
Writing on Telegram, Shuvaev said one of the wounded was a 14-year-old. He added that the attack also damaged a building and a vehicle in the village.
Wider exchange of strikes
The fatal strike on Belgorod came a day after Russia and Ukraine traded attacks reaching deep into each other's territory, a wave of strikes that killed 19 people combined on both sides.
Russia's Defense Ministry said it shot down 205 Ukrainian drones overnight across the country, including over annexed Crimea, between Sunday evening and Monday morning. Several airports in southern Russia temporarily suspended flights because of the overnight attacks.
