Ukrainian missile strike leaves six dead in Russia's Belgorod region
Six people were killed and four injured, including a teenager, after a Ukrainian missile hit a village in Russia's Belgorod region.
Six people died after a Ukrainian missile struck the village of Koloskovo in the Valuysky district of Russia's Belgorod region, according to Alexander Shuvaev, the region's acting governor, who made the announcement on the morning of August 17.
Shuvaev reported that four additional people were injured in the attack, among them a 14-year-old. Two of the injured received treatment at the scene, while the remaining two were taken to hospital.
According to the Telegram channel "Pepel Belgorod," the strike itself had actually taken place more than ten hours before the official report, occurring on the evening of August 16.
No further details about the target of the strike or the type of weapon used have been disclosed so far.
