Ukrainian Special Forces Strike Russian Military Training Ground in Zaporizhzhia

On the night of June 12, Ukrainian SBS units attacked Russian troop deployment sites at the Vostochny training ground in Novopetrivka, Zaporizhzhia region.

On the night of June 12, units of the Ukrainian Special Operations Battalion (SBS) struck temporary deployment sites of Russian occupiers at the Vostochny training ground in the village of Novopetrivka, Zaporizhzhia region. This was reported by the commander of the SBS, Robert "Madar" Brovdi.

According to him, the training ground is being used by Russia's 40th brigade from Kamchatka, a Buryat territorial troops regiment, and new recruits from Primorsky Krai. All of these units are fighting on the Huliaypole direction.

Among the targets of the night were also a Russian Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile system, a ZU-23 anti-aircraft gun, a MANPADS crew, and enemy personnel.

It is worth recalling that on the night of June 13, according to the Air Force, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with 118 drones. Over the past day, the Defense Forces eliminated another 1,310 Russian soldiers and 88 enemy artillery systems.
