Ukraine's forces neutralize 1,260 Russian occupiers over past day
Ukraine's General Staff reports that 1,260 Russian troops, three tanks and over 400 vehicles were put out of action in the past 24 hours. Russia's total losses since the start of the full-scale invasion have now exceeded 1.49 million personnel.

Ukraine's Armed Forces General Staff released its latest update on Russian military losses on Tuesday, stating that Ukrainian defense forces neutralized 1,260 Russian occupiers over the previous 24-hour period. Also destroyed were three tanks and more than 400 units of vehicles and fuel tankers.

According to the General Staff, Russia's total combat losses from February 24, 2022 through September 5, 2026 stand as follows:
