Ukrainian Strikes in the Azov Sea Significantly Disrupt Russian Grain Exports

Ukrainian armed forces have conducted a large-scale strike campaign in the Azov Sea over the last ten days, targeting more than 100 Russian vessels. These operations have paralyzed Russian ports in the Azov and Taman regions, causing major disruptions to Russia's grain exports.

Last week, Russian authorities informed shipping companies that they would stop accepting applications for passage through the Kerch Strait. Earlier this week, Russia's Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Agriculture announced that they are seeking alternative routes for exporting grain and grain products.

As a result of the Ukrainian strikes, Russian grain exports in July this year could be 20% lower than initially planned. This situation highlights Ukraine's growing ability to hinder Russia's military and economic resources.
