Photos: Midsummer celebrations in Uzvaras Park with Jāņu riti event

On Saturday, June 20, the Jāņu riti event took place in Rīga's Uzvaras Park, lasting until sunrise. A Delfi photographer captured the festivities.

Midsummer celebrations are in full swing in Rīga. On Friday, June 19, the traditional Herb Market (Zāļu tirgus) was held in the heart of Old Rīga. The following day, Saturday, June 20, Uzvaras Park hosted the Jāņu riti event, which lasted until sunrise, drawing many attendees.

The event was also attended by Delfi photographer Kārlis Dambrāns, who captured the spirit of the summer solstice celebrations in the capital. The photos show joyful people dancing, singing, and enjoying the festive atmosphere. Everyone is invited to find themselves in the photographs.
