Large residential building engulfed by flame in Vääna-Jõesuu
A large multi-storey residential building in Vääna-Jõesuu village, Harku Parish, caught fire on the evening of 1 August; all residents left the building in time and no injuries have been reported.

At 19.46 on 1 August, the emergency response centre received a report of a fire on Rannahoone Street in the village of Vääna-Jõesuu, Harku Parish. According to the Rescue Department's press office, a large multi-storey residential building was burning with open flame. Firefighters arrived at the scene and started extinguishing the blaze.
By the time the crews reached the building, it was almost fully engulfed by fire. Measures are now being taken to prevent the fire from spreading to the boiler room, where liquid fuel is stored. The person who called the emergency centre said that the building's residents had managed to leave the building in time. No reports of injuries have been received.
The rescue teams are working at the scene to prevent the fire from spreading further.
