Wreath weaving, herb gathering, and folk songs: Summer solstice celebrated all day in Turaida

On June 21, Turaida will host summer solstice celebrations featuring wreath weaving, cheese making, kokle music, and other traditions from sunrise to sunset.

On June 21, the Turaida Museum Reserve invites visitors to celebrate the summer solstice with a full day of traditional activities from dawn until late evening. The program includes wreath weaving, herb gathering, cheese making, and kokle music. Guests can enjoy folk songs and participate in ancient rituals. The festivities take place in one of Latvia's most beautiful locations, Turaida, as reported by Latvijas Radio's program "Kā labāk dzīvot."
