The government's out-of-town meeting in Latgale at the end of June cost 3,454 euros, with most expenses going towards technical support services.

The State Chancellery has disclosed that the technical provision and coffee break for the Cabinet of Ministers' out-of-town meeting in Latgale on June 27 amounted to 3,454 euros. The meeting took place at the National Armed Forces military base "Lūznava" in the Rēzekne region.
The Chancellery emphasized that existing state resources were used to the maximum extent, including infrastructure from the Chancellery and the military. External services were only procured for two services that could not be provided internally: sound system and audio recording, and live video streaming of the press conference. These services, provided by SIA "4.vara" under an existing procurement contract, cost 3,170 euros including VAT.
The coffee break, provided by a local Latgale caterer, cost 284 euros including VAT. The meeting aimed to strengthen the security, resilience, and development of the country's eastern border. Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs announced the plan for the out-of-town meeting on May 28 during the new government's first ceremonial session, stating that such a meeting is important to listen to residents and make decisions for the region's safety and tourism revival.
