State Police Detain Suspect in Jēkabpils, Seek Owners of Stolen Goods

Officers from the Austrumzemgale precinct of the Zemgale Regional Administration of the State Police detained a man in Jēkabpils yesterday on suspicion of theft. During the operation, they found and seized various items that are suspected to be stolen property.
A criminal investigation has been launched. To identify the rightful owners and return the belongings, police have released images of the recovered items and are asking anyone who recognizes their property to contact them.
