State Police video shows hippologists' work and the daily life of service horses

Latvia's State Police, which is responsible for maintaining public order and security in the country, has released a video about the work of hippologists. Hippologists are specialists who work with horses and look after them. The video also shows the daily routine of police service horses.

The material gives viewers a glimpse into a part of police service that is often less visible than other areas of the force's work. The available information does not make clear what tasks the horses and hippologists are assigned, how many animals are in service, or where the video was filmed.

The video is presented as an insight into the everyday work of hippologists and the lives of service horses. Further details about the work of police horses can be found in the video itself.
