How the game unfolded
Ventspils took a 10-point lead early on (19:9). In the first quarter they made seven of eight two-point attempts and five of nine three-pointers, finishing the period ahead 28:13.
Both teams struggled to score in the second quarter, with Ventspils converting only three of 12 field goals. They lost the quarter 15:16, but still led by 14 points at halftime (43:29).
In the third quarter Ventspils scored 28 points and stretched the lead to 23 (70:47), going into the final period ahead by 20 (70:50). In the closing quarter both teams played more freely and reserves saw more court time, but Ventspils kept its advantage to the end.

Ronalds Degrejs led Ventspils with 20 points, Ausējs added 19, Karlsons 11, and Bruņuks 10 points with eight rebounds. For Keila, Jordan Tilmon scored 26 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Peteris Salmiņš had 13 points and five rebounds.
