Verizon Launches Simplicity Plan With Cashback and Rewards
Verizon introduces the Simplicity phone plan at $45 per line, featuring unlimited 5G data, international roaming, and new loyalty rewards including 3% cashback and weekly giveaways.
Verizon has announced a new mobile plan called Simplicity, aimed at rewarding loyal customers. The plan costs $45 per line per month, or $30 for eligible new customers. It includes unlimited 5G data, talk, and text, international roaming, satellite texting, 10GB of mobile hotspot data, Verizon Dollars cashback, call filtering, and the Verizon Family parental controls app. Customers who enroll in Verizon Loyalty will also avoid activation and upgrade fees.
The Simplicity plan can be enhanced with add-on bundles. The Movie Lovers bundle, for $23 per month, includes Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ (with ads), as well as Netflix and HBO Max (with ads). Purchased separately, these services would cost $40. A family bundle with Apple Music or YouTube Premium plus Verizon Family Plus costs $20 per month, saving $11 compared to individual subscriptions. Another bundle provides Google AI Pro, 100GB of mobile hotspot data, and a second phone number for $30 per month, instead of $75.
Verizon also introduced a home internet bundle called Verizon One, which combines mobile and home internet for $70 per month, available only to new customers.
The Verizon Dollars program, launching in July, offers 3% cashback on bills, including add-ons. The cashback can be redeemed for gift cards, devices, and other products at retailers like Wayfair, Target, and Starbucks.
Additionally, Verizon Shine is a rewards program featuring Monday contests, daily drops, and access to live events. It resembles T-Mobile's Tuesdays promotion. Initial giveaways include free $5 Starbucks gift cards, FIFA merchandise, and tickets. The Epic Win Monday contest offers a chance to attend the FIFA World Cup finale with David Beckham. Future rewards will include gift cards from Amazon, Ulta, Dunkin' Donuts, and TopGolf.
