On the night of July 18, Ukrainian drones attacked Wildberries logistics centers in Elektrostal (Moscow region) and Kotovsk (Tambov region). Eight people were killed and dozens injured. The extent of damage to the warehouses themselves has not been officially reported.

A Wildberries source told The Bell that the strikes may have rendered 10 to 15 percent of the marketplace's total warehouse space unusable. The source added that the strikes are unlikely to paralyze the company's operations, but they could put serious strain on logistics in the Moscow market, which is Wildberries' largest.

Wildberries CEO Tatyana Kim announced that the company is "working through" the question of payments to sellers who lost goods in the drone strikes. She also reiterated that the marketplace is not obligated to compensate for lost inventory.
