Zelensky: Russia Launched Nearly 2,000 Strike Drones Against Ukraine in a Week
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia had used almost 2,000 attack drones, along with hundreds of bombs and missiles, over the past week, urging partners to boost air defense support.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Russian forces launched 1,920 attack drones, 1,790 guided aerial bombs, and 17 missiles against Ukraine over the past week. He emphasized that such an intensity of strikes requires a stronger response.
Zelensky noted that Ukraine is preparing for upcoming high-level meetings of the G7, EU, and NATO, expecting concrete decisions to strengthen its defense against Russian terror. He stressed the need for increased support in air defense and long-range capabilities.
On the night of Sunday, Russia attacked Ukraine with 98 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types. The president called on international partners to provide meaningful assistance so that Ukraine can effectively counter constant aerial attacks.
