In his regular evening address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the upcoming week will be crucial, as he plans to discuss several key issues with European partners. Primarily, these include providing air defense systems to Ukraine and political agreements that would strengthen the country's defense. Additionally, a cluster opening for Ukraine and Moldova is expected.

Zelenskyy emphasized that steps towards long-term peace will also be on the agenda, and in this regard, he wishes to discuss some ideas with partners that are not yet public. He noted that in the coming days, G7 meetings will take place in Europe, where one of the main topics will be Ukraine's protection and possibilities for achieving peace.

Furthermore, Zelenskyy thanked the United Kingdom for detaining a Russian oil tanker, stating that such actions in European seas have become a good tradition. He stressed that oil flow must be stopped to bring an end to Russia's war. The president called on partners to push for legislative changes that would allow longer detention of tankers that earn money for Putin and to confiscate that oil.
