Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has published photographs of reports that Russian officials transmit to Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin. In a post on Telegram, Zelenskyy stated that Ukrainian intelligence had obtained documents revealing the internal situation in Russia.

Zelenskyy noted that Putin rarely receives fully truthful information without embellishment, but even the documents that reach him allow for conclusions. Specifically, the predicted indicators of Russian discontent with Putin will continue to grow steadily, and he is already being prepared for the idea that this discontent cannot be stopped and will not "reach a plateau" before September, when Russia's parliamentary elections are scheduled.

The president pointed out that support for the ruling party is steadily declining, and protest moods in Russian regions are significantly increasing. He emphasized that pressure on Russia for this war will continue and increase, not only from Ukraine. By September, Putin will face even worse indicators.

Zelenskyy reminded that all public and non-public peace proposals from Ukraine have been met only with words about continuing the war. He believes that the internal Russian situation should convince the opposite—that peace is needed. Ukraine proposes to negotiate a dignified peace. According to him, trends will not change, and over time this may mean that an agreement will have to be made with someone else from Russia—someone who does not shut themselves off from reality.

Earlier, on June 4, Zelenskyy sent an open letter to Putin proposing to set a date and meet to end the war. Putin responded that he had looked at the letter and "sees no sense" in holding a meeting.
