President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said he will inform the public about the "high-profile situation in Monaco" after receiving additional reports. He made the statement during an online Q&A with media, noting that relevant briefings are expected in the coming days.

The explosion occurred in Monaco on June 29 around 9 p.m., injuring three individuals, two of them critically. According to sources from Ukrainska Pravda in business circles, the victims include sanctioned Ukrainian businessman Vadym Yermolaiev and his relatives. A large-scale search operation followed; the suspected bomb planter was captured on surveillance cameras and believed to have fled to France. It later emerged that the suspect was a woman possibly disguised as a man.

On July 3, Interpol issued an international arrest warrant for 39-year-old Ukrainian national Anastasia Berezovska, suspected of planting the explosive device. On July 7, she was found murdered and buried near Kyiv. The same day, Ukrainian law enforcement arrested two individuals on suspicion of her murder: Vladyslav Reut, an employee of the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) of the Ministry of Defense, and his accomplice Vitaliy Zhykovych, a former SBU officer. Investigators believe the men may also be linked to the Monaco assassination attempt, as they made multiple transfers to Berezovska's cryptocurrency and bank accounts.

On July 9, the Pechersk District Court in Kyiv ordered Reut and Zhykovych to be held in custody without bail. The investigation in Monaco is also considering the possibility of SBU involvement.
