Zelenskyy: Ukrainians will not go hungry despite war

Zelenskyy warned that the prolonged conflict poses serious risks not only to Ukraine but to the global agricultural sector and worldwide food security. His remarks included a call for concrete measures to safeguard the stability of food production and supply chains despite ongoing military activity.

In his statement, the Ukrainian president emphasized the need for coordinated international action to prevent the war from further damaging the agricultural sector — a concern that extends beyond Ukraine to countries that depend on Ukrainian grain and other agricultural exports.

The statement comes as the war between Russia and Ukraine continues with no clear prospects for a broader ceasefire, and as energy infrastructure on both sides continues to face regular attacks.
