On Tuesday, during the NATO summit in Turkey, Estonia and Ukraine signed a bilateral agreement on cooperation in drone technologies. Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal stated that Ukraine's knowledge and experience, which are rapidly evolving due to the war, will now be accessible to Estonian entrepreneurs, enabling the transfer and export of production to Estonia. Such agreements are only concluded with the closest allies.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte announced that over the past year, member states have invested more than $37 billion in defense industry projects. He also revealed that the alliance will purchase ten new Swedish surveillance aircraft by 2030.

In his address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stressed that the war cannot be won with drones alone. He urged partners to provide more anti-aircraft missiles, calling it the current top priority. "We are capable of doing everything else ourselves. But when it comes to air defense, we need the determination of our partners," Zelensky said.

The key partner is U.S. President Donald Trump, who recently reiterated his intention to end the war in Ukraine. On Tuesday, he explained the obstacles. "Often I get along well with Putin, but have problems with Zelensky. Or the opposite... Both want to settle this now. All I do in life is deals. I know what deals are," Trump stated.

A meeting between Trump and Zelensky is scheduled for Wednesday.
