Zelenskyy: Ukrainian Flamingo missiles hit artillery systems plant in Russia's Volgograd
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that FP-5 Flamingo missiles struck the Titan-Barrikady plant in Volgograd on the night of 26-27 June, a facility producing artillery systems and missile launch components.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that Ukrainian forces used FP-5 Flamingo missiles to strike the Titan-Barrikady plant in the Russian city of Volgograd. The attack occurred on the night of June 26-27.
On the social media platform X, Zelenskyy noted that the facility manufactures artillery systems and special military equipment, including components for missile launch systems. A fire broke out on the plant's premises following the strike.
"The reach of Ukraine's long-range sanctions continues to expand. And it is precisely our pressure, day after day, that lays the groundwork for a dignified peace in the end," Zelenskyy wrote.
Earlier, online sources reported that missiles likely hit targets in Volgograd, including a military-industrial plant. Russian authorities later confirmed that the city had come under attack.
The Titan-Barrikady plant is a key facility in Russia's missile and artillery production. Its destruction could affect the capabilities of the Russian military. Ukrainian forces have increasingly used domestically produced long-range missiles to strike military targets within Russian territory.
