Gabriela Elizabete Kareva, a resident of Aizkraukle who studies business management at the University of Latvia, has finished her bachelor's studies successfully. She said so in an interview with the regional newspaper Staburags. She works in influencer marketing, meaning she helps promote companies' products and services through collaboration with popular social media personalities.
Defence went better than expected
During a discussion in Koknese, Kareva had mentioned that she had little free time because she had to write her bachelor's thesis. In the interview she said the defence went very well in her view, even better than she had hoped. She admitted that while writing and preparing, doubts always arose about whether she was doing everything well enough, but she rates the end of her bachelor's studies as very good.
Interest in books
In secondary school Kareva set high standards for herself and had big plans for the future. She continues to nurture her interest in books, which at one point also led her to found a student book club. The interview's headline highlights her view that people do not dislike reading, they simply have not yet found their book.
